Thoroughly enjoyed,01 October 2007
The weekend at Tuli Safari Lodge was a present from us, the children to my Mom and Dad on their 50th wedding anniversary. They thoroughly enjoyed it although it rained 127mm during the weekend and got soaked on the game drives but nevertheless enjoyed it very much. Specially when drinking sundowners on a open Land rover while the rain came down. Thank you to all the staff, Brinny, Moskou and Nic, to make this unforgettable. They went through a dry river bed on Friday and came back on ... more

A Safari to Remember,10 July 2007
I cannot make words adequately describe the fantastic time I had at Tuli: from the animals seen (including my first Leopard); guides who don't just know about the animals but also know their habits and ways from living a lifetime amongst them; wonderful surrounds; and, kindly staff, an experience that I shall treasure for the rest of my life and yes, I will be back, soon I hope.

A wide choice of activities, including drives, walks, hides, horse rides, visits to nearby places of interest such as the World Heritage Site at Mapungubwe and the Venetia Wild Dog Project, opportunities to participate in our community & conservation projects …
All set in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve, a beautiful, unspoilt corner of Botswana home to diverse wildlife, over 350 birds species and boasting a rich cultural heritage.
The Tuli area is an ideal stop-off point en route to the Kalahari, Delta, Chobe & beyond, or forms a natural extension to a Limpopo/Waterberg/Northern Kruger trip.
Tuli Safari Lodge provides an idyllic base from which to explore the surrounding area, with its dramatic landscape, diverse flora & fauna and fascinating history.
With an established team of friendly staff and just 8 individually designed suites, we can offer our guests a personalised, relaxed and exciting stay.
The lodge is situated in peaceful grounds under the shade of huge mashatu trees, tucked between the banks of the Limpopo and imposing sandstone formations.
The lodge is the second longest-established in all Botswana, and traces its origins back to 1964 when the Northern Tuli Game Reserve was created. As such it is unconventional in design and layout, and has a charming home-from-home feel.
All our suites have double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, air conditioning and tea/coffee making facilities.
We have two grades of suites – which we call 4 and 5 “ele” - with our “5 ele” suites being the more luxurious, spacious and private.
Wholesome meals are served in a variety of locations throughout the lodge’s extensive grounds.
