What an amazing experience. We were booked in a double room but due to a private party, we were swiftly moved to a cottage on the hill far from the lively sounds coming from the bar where we had some "kuier" time with some local farmers. The only thing missing was snow. From the warm and friendly hosts to the percale linen and raging fire, everything was perfect. Oh yes, and the food, oh the food is to die for. Colin and Math - the dream team. We were sad to go.

One of the best weekend getaways we had in a long time. The venue is in a beautiful setting with stunning views, peace and quiet. We were made to feel more than welcome with great hospitality and very nice breakfasts. The room/chalet we had was very spacious and the double shower in the bathroom was great. Will definitely recommend this to anyone.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. The views are captivating, the accommodation beautifully furnished and the hospitality excellent. Couldn't get enough of the panoramic setting! With the Scottish connections in the area, and details in the furnishings, I could have thought I was at home, if not for the warmth of the South African summer!

My husband and I loved our stay here. We stayed in Bruce, one of the luxury rooms, and it was lovely and comfortable. The family who own Lord's are extremely friendly and hospitable and made our stay extra special. We'll definitely be going back next year.
Absolutely wonderful.
