Treehouse River Lodge

Come and enjoy your own bushveld holiday in the beautiful Shongweni Valley, at Treehouse River Lodge. The lodge neighbours the Shongweni Dam and a game reserve. It is situated only 30 minutes from Durban and 12 minutes from sporting and shopping facilities, excellent restaurants and tourist routes.

Your hosts, Sue, Allys, Tyrone and Bradley invite you to join them and to be at one with nature. Experience the beautiful sounds of the fish eagles soaring way up in the sky, or explore the magic hiking trails where something new awaits you around every corner.

We offer three thatched Log Cabins and all with en-suite bathrooms. Two Log Cabins have adjoining kitchenettes and extra bedrooms with double bunk beds. These are both fully equipped and include romantic honeymoon suites, ceiling fans and heaters for the cold winter nights. Tea and coffee trays are available in the bedrooms.

There are braai areas overlooking the Sterkspruit River, secure fenced and automated gates and under-cover parking, and a thatched lapa where guests can enjoy their breakfasts. We offer fax and email facilities as well as laundry services on request.

The cabins have DStv Easy View bouquets. Guests who want a full bouquet, must bring their own decoder and smart card.
