Welcome to Travellers Rest, a Victorian Guest House with a fully licensed restaurant and bar, situated in the lovely peaceful town of Riebeek Kasteel.

The guest house is situated in beautifully landscaped gardens. We offer five individually styled en-suite double rooms. Each room has French doors leading onto the wraparound veranda with outside seating. Some suites offer beautiful views of the Kasteelberg Mountains.

The communal living area is has a satellite TV and a welcoming large open fireplace. Enjoy alfresco dining in the beautiful garden under the shade of the trees, next to the swimming pool. Drink in the spectacular mountain views while sipping a sundowner on our terrace. In winter, dine in our beautifully furnished restaurant with an open fireplace. We also have a Victorian style country pub where guests can enjoy a drink or a light meal.

Our beautifully converted 60 seater loft is available as an ideal venue for smaller weddings and intimate functions. This venue leads onto a deck which affords stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valley. Safe off-street parking as well as a braai area is available for guests to use.
