Travellers Lodge offers bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation in Port Alfred, in the Eastern Cape, and is conveniently situated on the R72 main road passing through Port Alfred. The manageress, Fanna Vogel, will assist you with all your accommodation and holiday needs to ensure that your stay at our fully serviced self-catering facility will be a memorable experience. Port Alfred is the most sought-after holiday destination between Port Elizabeth and East London. Travellers Lodge is conveniently located within a couple of minutes’ drive from Port Alfred's shopping centre with all modern amenities, the Kowie River Bridge, and our pristine beaches.

Our facility caters for bed and breakfast, but for those who desire self-catering, a fully equipped kitchen is also available. Relax in the barbecue area or enjoy a relaxing cup of tea in the lapa. Guests are welcome to bring their own DStv decoder and smart card and connect to our DStv access points.

Travellers Lodge offers accommodation in seven en-suite rooms, four with double beds, two with a double bed plus a single bed and one with two single beds. All our rooms are fully serviced and contain a TV with DStv point, bar fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, and linen and towels. We also offer a choice of three breakfasts, with a Halaal option available on request. Feel completely secure with a security gate and separate alarm for each room, as well as safe and secure parking with a remote controlled gate.

For the more energetic, surfing and windsurfing, boating, fishing, water skiing, diving, canoeing, golfing, horse riding, hiking, and bird watching to name but a few activities are available in Port Alfred and adjoining areas. Don't forget about the sea and sun that can be enjoyed at Port Alfred's Blue Flag beaches all year round.
