Unbelievable setting -

My wife and I had the most amazing honeymoon and we have the wonderful people and accommodation at Tranquility Lodge to thank for that. The setting and views were unbelievable and the meals were superb. We will definitely go back for another romantic get away. Thank you!!!

We offer superb accommodation - each room is equipped with a double sit-on-top kayak for you to explore the lagoon and its fantastic birdlife. Tranquillity Lodge has its own hot pool for you to relax in and enjoy.
We have also arranged two complimentary excursions for you: The first is a bridge walking tour on the Bloukrans River Bridge - home to the world’s highest commercial bungy jump and Africa's highest bridge. The second is a tour of the local mampoer distillery located on the Buffalo Hills Game Reserve.
The lodge boasts seven double en-suite rooms, one of which is our “honeymoon” or “penthouse” suite with spa bath, fire place and double shower. Beautiful and comfortable, yet simple and understated - this is truly a place to escape to!
The lodge is mostly wooden in structure and truly blends with the natural forest of Natures Valley. Boasting a lush indigenous garden that makes you feel that you are hidden away from the outside world. The lodge has an enclosed hot pool and a pool with wooden deck.
Regretfully we do not take reservations for children at our Lodge. The environment does not allow for it.

| This non-smoking upstairs room boasts with a handmade yellowwood king size bed, double shower, spa bath, his-hers basins en-suite, fireplace with leather poufs, nicely stocked Mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, selected DSTV TV, CD Player, Robes and slippers, and this room has its own private deck area with deck furniture where you can sit and enjoy a lovely early morning or late evening cup of coffee. This room has a private staircase that goes down to the swimming pool area, this makes for a quick trip to our unique hotspa. |

| These non-smoking rooms are located downstairs and comes equipped with your choice of a lovely double bed, comfortable twin beds or a converted King Size bed, please note that we do not only push two twins together, we actually put a King size mattress on the bed. Each room has a shower en-suite, coffee and tea making facilities as well as a wonderful patio outside the room with patio furniture where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee from our full range of Catura and Dilmah coffee and tea that we have in each room. |
