We are specialized in organizing (photo) safaris.
Explore the surrounding wilderness by open game vehicle or for the more adventurous we organize safaris on foot. Spend the day floating in our elevated River pool with unrivalled views or rejuvenating in our specially designed wellness area offering holistic wellness treatments to calm body & mind.
Our comfortable chalets reflect the rustic theme of ‘simply safari escape’.
Discover our campsite at a prime spot on the Luangwa River, each camping spot ensures sufficient privacy, offering unsurpassed panoramas.
Dining diversities range from simple barbecues to a feast of unlimited flavours.

Track & Trail River Camp was designed in 2005 by the Dutch owners Peter Geraerdts en Kirsten Gottenkieny.

The campsite has a well-kept ablution block, shady trees, chitenge’s (your own private shelter) and each camping spot contains electricity, running water and a bbq where you can cook your own meal while enjoying a sunset over the river. We offer bbq-packs at the reception and you can shop for vegetables & fruit at the local market.
On arrival quench your thirst with our ice-cold homemade Lime juice. At our bar, a large choice of cold drinks is waiting for you….
Throughout the day you are welcome in our lounge & dining area for a variety of dishes and all-hour wapas (world tapas).

Our comfortable chalets, designed with local African touches are split level and accommodate 4 people, each chalet with its own theme.
The spacious chalets are located at a beautiful spot on the Luangwa River, from your private balcony you can enjoy the magnificent view of the river with its hippos and crocodiles.
All chalets have a sleeping- and seating area, tea & coffee making facilities and beds are provided with a mosquito net. When necessary a fan will bring some airy refreshment.
The en-suite bathroom has a toilet, shower with hot & cold running water and a basin. All chalets have electricity (220V) and are cleaned daily by our friendly staff. Fresh sheets and towels are also taken care of.
