Thula Thula Lodge offers a sumptuous homely atmosphere with affordable self-catering accommodation for that quick getaway weekend, just half an hour’s drive from Pretoria. The lodge is part of the Dinokeng Conservancy and includes the legendary African Big Five reserves within the area.

Thula Thula is a peaceful retreat ideal for business accommodation or a weekend retreat in a bushveld atmosphere that gives you time away from everything. Because of its setting and outstanding function facilities, Thula Thula Lodge also makes for a perfect wedding venue and a complete outdoor experience.

We offer both self-catering accommodation and conference facilities. The conference and function facilities are one of the main events we provide together with the self-catering units, and the warmth of a huge boma can create a very relaxed and comfortable experience.

We are located within 10 km from The Colonnade Mall offering all the major stores, an ice rink and cinemas, and 50 km away from the nearest casino. Many game reserves and conservancies in the area are being linked together and restocked with game, with the potential to form a large Big 5 game reserve in the near future. Fishing and canoeing is also available a short distance from Thula Thula Lodge at RoodePlaat Dam, and the lodge will provide guests with all the information needed for fun-filled days.
