Welcome to Thornhill Safari Lodge, located within the Greater Kruger Park ecosystem, a mere 40km from Kruger Park's Orpen gate.
This area is a premier eco- tourist destination, with ever present views of the Drakensburg Escarpment.
The Lodge offers an affordable getaway with comfortable accommodation, authentic thatch-roofed chalets designed with Vibrant fabrics and local hardwood furniture all to create that rustic yet stylish bush atmosphere.
All bedrooms have en suite facilities, overhead fans, mosquito nets and wooden decks that overlook the lodge, pool area and surrounding bushveld.
Guided or selfguided walking trails throughout the conservancy. Big five drives and walks conducted daily. The lodge also offers optional tours to places of interest .
These include, a day drive into Kruger Park, a tour of the Panoramic Route including the Blyde River Canyon, a visit to the cheetah breeding project or a guided tour of the Shangaan tribal village.
We cater for group bookings, individual guests on self drives, fly in safaris and honeymoon couples.
Transfers can be arranged with Thornhill Safari Lodge. We run transfers from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to the Lodge for R800.00 p/p return. And Hoedpsruit Airport R360.00 p/p return.
All accommodation is on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis with light lunches included. Two game activities are included per bed night (walk and big 5 Drive)
