This villa is situated on Thesen Islands Marina in Knysna which is a private estate with a gated entrance and 24 hour access control. It's one of the few units that is situated on a private beach. It consists of three bedrooms - two with Queen sized beds and one with a King sized bed, three bathrooms and a fully equiped kitchen including a microwave oven, washing machine, tumbledryer and dishwasher. Open plan dining room and lounge with DSTV. The third bedroom and bathroom makes up a flatlet with its own kitchenette and has a sleeper couch in the lounge. Underfloor heating throughout the house and a gas fireplace. Off the deck is a private jetty, which can be used for boating and fishing. Walking distance from all amenities. The Estate also has two tennis courts, a squash court and childrens playground.

I rented this place for a one-night romantic getaway with my girlfriend, and it didn't disappoint. It is very clean and well presented, with a great location right on the waters' edge overlooking a quiet alcove of the lagoon. The main bedroom was impressive, as it has its own balcony and large en-suite bathroom. We stayed at the owner's other house, which is two doors down from Thesen Island. We had a wonderful time and loved sitting on the deck. It is very clean and well stocked. I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent accommodation on this secure 'gated community' on Thesen Island. Lovely property, well equipped, with great views. A wonderful, comfortable place in which to relax. Great scenery in the area.
