The Wanderer Bed and Breakfast

The Wanderer Bed and Breakfast is an elegant, yet relaxed retreat located in Somerset West. Some like to say that it's like a home away from home with modern, chic décor crossed with country ambiance. It is a place where you can relax and take time to reflect on your travels.

The Wanderer Bed and Breakfast offers two guest rooms which are fresh, modern and inviting. Each room comprises a private verandah and top of the range amenities. Guests have the use of the communal lounge, a wood burning fireplace during the winter months and direct access to the garden. There is also a TV with full DStv, a CD player and a selection of books and information on the local area. There is parking space for one standard vehicle per room. Laura shares her home with her two adorable dachshunds, Sniffy and Montague. Although they are not allowed in the guest rooms, we would not want to upset them by having other pets in the house, therefore no pets are allowed.

Breakfast is a memorable experience. You may find yourself sitting on the verandah for hours on end in summer, while sipping on a cup of the finest African roasted coffee and taking in the views. The full breakfast is cooked and all produce is local or organic. Vegetarians are happily catered for.

There is plenty to experience in the area. You could sample an array of the Winelands' famous wines, revel in a round of golf, go whale watching in Hermanus and enjoy the tranquility of our coastlines. You could even delight in a day trip to see the Big 5 at a nearby game reserve. These are just a few inspiring ideas to contemplate while you relax on the verandah and enjoy the views over the valley.
