The Walden House

Nestled against the backdrop of the majestic Table Mountain lies The Walden House. Built in the 1900s, this gracious Victorian home and garden suites, has been restored to it's original splendour and refurbished with the most elegant finishes. It features a Colonial style, with a touch of Africa, and an open ambience without any clutter, with each piece of furniture selected with a purpose.

Seven elegant en-suite rooms offer a unique and private setting in Colonial style; white cotton bed linen, mosquito netting, white painted wooden floors, and ceiling fans for those hot African summer days. Four of the rooms also offer direct access to the beautiful garden. The large Luxury Suite coasts a cosy fireplace, a large Victorian bathroom with separate shower and toilet, and direct access to the balcony with mountain views. All the bathrooms are luxurious, with heated towel rails and brass fixtures, and each room also includes a television set, minibar and a telephone.
