The View Hotel

Character: This house was built by Julius Jeppe, who was knighted for his pioneering role in the development of Johannesburg, for his daughter. Today it is known as The View Boutique Hotel.

Historical & Cultural: The View, as it is known today, was built in the early 1900's by Sir Julius Jeppe, property and mining magnate of Johannesburg. The View underwent extensive restoration beginning 2009 and today amplifies its more than 100 years of history.
