The Upper Deck in Gordon's Bay near Cape Town, South Africa, offers fine self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests in a two-bedroom penthouse apartment, the whole top floor of a residential home situated against the impressive mountain behind Gordon's Bay with magnificent sea views.

The apartment has beautiful panoramic views over the sea and mountains from all the rooms and the decks upstairs. Across the blue ocean waters of False Bay, famous Table Mountain above Cape Town resembles a sleeping giant and provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable sunsets while you sip cocktails or prepare a sumptuous Weber barbecue on the top floor deck.

Features include a large open plan living area consisting of a kitchen, dining area with table and six chairs and an air-conditioned lounge opening onto the wooden deck with stunning sea and mountain views and Weber braai//barbecue facilities which are ideal for entertainment. The deck has outdoor furniture and sun loungers. The lounge has a flat screen television with full DSTV, satellite TV, DVD, a radio and CD player as well as wireless Internet access.

The large family bedroom has a queen-size bed and two single beds, en-suite full bathroom with bath and separate shower and opens onto the sundeck with sea and mountain views. The main bedroom comes with a small en-suite shower bathroom, queen size bed and opens onto the sundeck with stunning views over the sea and romantic lights at night. There is an extra single bed in a corner in the lounge.

The open plan kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and other usual kitchen utensils.

Facilities include air-conditioning in the lounge, heaters, ceiling fans, hair-dryers and a little information corner with brochures. The apartment has its own private entrance. Linen and towels provided - bring own beach towels. Serviced once a week (fresh linen and towels supplied) for longer bookings and char service available at extra charge. Parking is available for two cars in an off-street under-roof tandem carport.
