A bit about this place

The Treehouse is located in laid back, tranquil Pumula (the "place of rest" in Zulu) on a high point giving stunnind panoramic sea views. Situated between Hibberdene and Port Shepstone (Durban Airport is just 45 Minutes away) , Pumula has the advantage of isolation, whilst being close enough to everything and anything one might need. Set in safe and secure surroundings, with ample parking, the Treehouse offers a choice of 4 double bedrooms, all en suite. The upper level of the Treehouse consists of a deck with braai area, enclosed verandah and bar area with an oak fitted bar. The huge lounge and dinning area are snuggled around a yellow wood tree which supports the roof structure. Wake to the African sunrise and start your day with a traditional English breakfast served either el fesco on the deck or in the dinning area. There are also several restaurants within easy reach offering anything from burgers, pizzas and traditional South African food, through to Italian food, or why not try authentic Thai cuisine in house? The local beach is a five minute walk away and is very popular with fisherman. The ever popular Banana Beach complete with tidal/rock pools, shark nets, life guards and restaurant is within a five minute drive. Activities abound along the South Coast with fishing, surfing, scuba diving, boat rides, biking trails, hiking and last but not least a number of excellent golf courses. For trhe more adventuresome, there are many adrenaline inducing diversions within a forty minute drive at Oribi Gorge (wild gorge swing, wild slide, white water rafting, abseiling and horse riding). Next to Oribi Gorge is Lake Eland game Reserve and within a forty minute drive down the coast is the Wild Coast Casino.
