Description
The Trail House offers down-to-earth, quality budget accommodation in the beautiful town of Betty’s Bay, just over an hour’s drive from Cape Town along the breathtaking R44.
Situated at the foot of the Kogelberg Mountain Range, with views over the Atlantic Ocean, Rod’s Hiking Trail starts 50 m from the house and takes one through the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom to the Harold Porter Botanical Garden. The Trail House is within easy walking distance of the village centre for shops, restaurants, pubs and the main swimming beach.
Three en-suite rooms sleep six guests. Prices including or excluding breakfast are available. A communal dinning room with a fireplace is equipped for basic self-catering with a fridge, a microwave, cutlery and crockery. Free wireless Internet is available throughout the house.
A nature lover's paradise with a host of bird-, marine- and small wildlife and plant species. World-class golfing, hiking, sandboarding and the Overberg Wine Route are some favourite activities. The African penguin colony, whales, porcupines and baboons some of the interesting residents.
