Facilities

The Stables offers 15 fully air-conditioned rooms with DStv. All our rooms have the highest quality finishings. Our 65-seater restaurant is the perfect place to let your hair down, and drink one of our very many vintage wines.

Situated only 85 km from the Valley of Desolation, we welcome our guests to relax and be chauffeured to the sights by our qualified drivers, and have an all-day trip and see what the Karoo has to offer. All our staff is highly trained and motivated and live by the true meaning of the word 'service'.

Awful experience, they appeared not to be expecting us although room was booked and paid for in advance. Only 1 bedside lamp worked, no other room lighting worked. tv did not work, kettle but no tea/coffee etc in room!

The rooms are very basic. Fine if you are used to or expect that. Our serice was very poor and we had to wait for a couple of hours for towels.

Delicious dinner. Fresh ingredients and full of flavour. Room was spacious and even have aircon. Also fireplace for cold winter nights. They have satellite tv. You can arrive any time and they will accommodate for dinner any time. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bedding and fresh clean sheets. Bathroom also clean and adequate.

Conference Venues: We currently convert our restaurant into a conference facility. Catering is done from our kitchen, the ambiance is truly Karoo and we offer ample parking. One can only wonder, 'when can I come back?'
