Description

The Old Stone Shed used to be an old sheep shearing shed and has been converted into a self-catering unit providing a unique experience when staying in the Karoo.

Built from stone, the shed has a reed roof and is equipped with electricity. The house is self-catering with the necessary cutlery, bedding and towels being provided. The small lounge area has a fireplace to add to the atmosphere and provide extra warmth in the Karoo winters. The bathroom is equipped with a wash basin, a flushing toilet and a shower with hot water. The unit also has an outdoor shower. Fires can be made outside and wood can be bought at the farmhouse at R20 a bag.

The farmhouse is within walking distance if anything is needed and also has a swimming pool where guests can cool off. With all the wide open spaces, guests can go for long walks or mountain biking. Sitting outside you will see the incredible star-filled Karoo sky at night, a must-see, awe-inspiring sight.

This restored shed offers guests one bedroom with and en-suite bathroom as well as an outdoor shower. Linen and towels are provided and the unit is equipped for self-catering with an electric stove and a fridge with a freezer. The farmhouse is within walking distance and has a pool. R700 for two poeple staying in the unit and for four to five people R800.00.
