Lookout Lodge

Lookout Lodge, which was formerly Carpe Diem, was recently bought and restored by Bushfellows. The lodge is situated just 7 km outside of Groblersdal on the Bronkhorstspruit/Vaalfontein Road, only an hour and a half’s drive from OR Tambo International Airport. The lodge offers 16 chalets, five of which contain two bedrooms and can sleep four guests comfortably, and 11 chalets that can sleep two guests comfortably. The chalets each feature en-suite bathrooms, closets, minibar fridges, and DStv.

The restaurant and bar in the main building have been restored and while sitting on the porch you can enjoy the view of the landscape and listen to the birds. The menu has something for every taste, from starters to deserts, and our chef will not disappoint.

In addition, we offer a fully equipped conference centre for up to 100 delegates in school-room style. For the perfect wedding, there is a chapel and for the more outdoorsy-couple, a wedding in the garden is possible while birds cheer you on. A Jacuzzi is also available for the romantic at heart.
