Baberton is such a nice place, so the guesthouse can only improve your stay. We had a wonderful time. We flew to the annual Fly-in and air show at Baberton. What I like about this place is the owner’s involvement with the guests. Soon we became friends and they offered to take us to and from the airfield. It was clean and cheerful.
People were pleasant
Our room very basic, don't like curtains for bathroom door. No bedside table or light.
Dinner.....just a main course, no starter or dessert...seemed surprised when we asked.
Breakfast was OK. No Marmalade...didn't know what it was.
I am sure they will improve as time goes on.

Our Guesthouse was named after the famous Gold Nugget weighing 179 ounces, found by prospector H W Peacock on 3 July 1912 at Kaapsehoop near Barberton. The Gold Nugget Guesthouse is within walking distance to the CBD. We offer comfortable rooms each with en-suite bathrooms. Enjoy sitting in the garden or cool down in the swimming pool on those hot summer days. Let us make your vacation a memorable one.
