We had a wonderful stay at Fynbos House. The house is beautifully appointed with wonderful views of both the beach and the mountains. It is wonderful to be surrounded by the natural beauty of the fynbos which is so close by. It is also well positioned so that one does not feel that the neighbours are on top of you. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend Fynbos House to any couple for a lovely break from the madding crowd

Set against the mountain slopes of Pringle Bay, a beautiful coastal village in the heart of a UNESCO World Nature Reserve, the Fynbos House has been built to enjoy nature and the uninterrupted views of False Bay and the Kogelberg Mountains. Romantic, with a creative, warm and laid-back style, the house has been designed for creature comfort living with two spacious lounges, a central kitchen, and second bathroom with large sunken shower overlooking the mountain. Guests can purchase some of the hand-selected wines from the owners' personal wine collection to enjoy in front of the large traditional Cape-style fireplace. The other lounge is great for relaxing with a good book, watching a movie or just listening to some of the good music provided. Nature spills indoors from the many windows and double glass doors that open onto a wooden deck with an outside braai area. The 30m² open plan loft bedroom with Cape reed ceilings, corner windows, fireplace and en-suit bathroom with sandstone bath-tub has its own wooden deck from where to enjoy the views. The Fynbos House has been designed with great love and attention to detail. It offers everything expected from a world-class, yet personal space where you can have your batteries recharged and really have the space to live with nature all around you. The Fynbos House is an ideal bolt-hole to get away from the madding crowd, a wonderful base from where to explore the Cape Whale Coast and ideal for honeymooners and lovers of nature. Only an hour from Cape Town International Airport along one of the World’s most scenic coastal drives (Reader’s Digest). In whale season (May - Dec) you will be treated to great sightings of the Southern Right Whale that favours this protected bay to mate and calve. Pringle Bay has a great selection of restaurants, deli's, art galleries and specialty shops where you can pick up some real treasures and enjoy some of the best food in the Western Cape. Fully equipped with TV/DVD. Although the house is spacious it is designed exclusively for two people. We regret no children or pets allowed.
