Situated only 7 kilometres from the spectacular Augrabies Falls and 100km form the Riemvasmaak hot water springs, this working grape farm (exporter of table grapes) offers all their visitors a memorable accommodation experience.
The Fox's Lair, overlooking the Augrabies Valley offers warm farm hospitality, a beautiful comfortable climate and by night a spectacular vista of the star studded sky awaits you.
It is also ideally located for any visitors who are making their way to and from Namibia, with the Green Kalahari and Namaqualand offering up breathtaking flower sceneries.
The self-catering two bedroom cottages, provide ample space and boasts with braai (BBQ) facilities, air-conditioned rooms and fully equipped kitchen allowing you to prepare your own meals. A hearty farm style breakfast is also available on request.
The scenic, quiet and peaceful surroundings ensure that you'll be well rested and rejuvenated.
The Fox's Lair is only 135km from the Upington airport and 10 km away from the landing strip in Augrabies, for those travellers flying into the Northern Cape.

What a magnificent, tranquil setting - we loved every minute of our time there and will definitely be visiting Kakamas again, where we will be back to stay at your Fox's Lair. Found the accommodation very good. The area/venue is ideal - farm life and near the places of interest. A pity SafariNow did not complete their side and advise me of the address/phone details by SMS as agreed before I left.

The place was very clean and homely, beautifully decorated. The fridge was well stocked. It is very private with pretty surroundings. Pricing reasonable.

Our stay at the Fox's Lair was tremendous. The self-catering facilities are of a very high standard, privacy is maintained and the facility is within very close proximity to the major attractions of the Augrabies Park and reasonably priced restaurants.
