The Courtyard Hotel is Zambia's premier boutique hotel and one of the finest in the heart of Lusaka. The hotel is dedicated to perfecting the travel experience through continuous innovation and the highest standards of hospitality.

The Courtyard Hotel follows a “stay healthy” theme as its core business principle and culture, promoting an environment as well as products to enhance longevity. This can be seen from its non-smoking and no alcohol policy, as well as having an indoor pool, gym, health bar and a complimentary health and fitness check-up.

The two conferencing facilities offer different décor arrangements that can be set up to meet a selection of various meeting events. The conference room has the capacity to accommodate up to 60 and the boardroom accommodates 30 delegates. Both rooms come with TVs, projectors and screens for hire.

The hotel features high-speed Internet with wireless access at a nominal fee. In addition, this luxury hotel offers broadband wireless Internet access via hotspots on the main floor.

My stay at the Courtyard Hotel was very pleasant. No complaints about the hotel, food or room. All was up to standard. One thing though, which will need immediate attention, is the faulty payment machine in reception. When I arrived on Wednesday the machine was not able to process the transaction, and then again on check out I had the same issue with the machine saying battery was low and the transaction was not going anywhere. I had to be at the airport, and could not wait any longer, so I paid cash just so that I could get a move on. I really do not like spending my US dollars at all and would prefer to always pay by credit card. So that would be my only criticism of the Courtyard hotel. The card payment device in recetion needs urgent attention.
