Description

A national monument of over 100 years old, The Coach House has been beautifully renovated with careful attention to its original character and charm. We are situated in a quiet street in the lovely village of Franschhoek.

We have seven double en-suite rooms, with a choice of twin beds or queen-size beds. Both upstairs rooms have mountain views, and one enjoys a spacious balcony overlooking the garden. All our accommodation offers air-conditioning or ceiling fans, TVs, bar fridges, and tea and coffee facilities.

We offer a full English or buffet-style continental breakfast served in our breakfast room, or on the patio of the garden rooms. We also have a lounge and a library, where you can watch TV or read.

Take a dip in the pool, relax in our well-established garden or do the South African braai thing when you are not busy discovering Franschhoek and the Cape Winelands. We are situated a short stroll away from Franschhoek famous restaurants and shops, and 50 m from the Huguenot Monument and Museum.

We LOVED our stay at the Coach House - Sharon and staff were superb - everyone so relaxed so friendly - our unit was spotless, lovely fresh white linen and towels, all conveniences, and warm touches - delish breakfasts - all ingredients of highest quality - nothing too much trouble for staff - pool area inviting and homely - even little Smiley the dog was gorgeous - we just loved the situation, so close to everything-we will definitely be back and recommend to people.
