Facilities

The Bushfront Lodge is a quaint, little bush getaway situated in Livingstone on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. It is conveniently situated close to Victoria Falls, Zambezi River, Livingstone Town and Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. The grounds are surrounded by dense African woodland.

The Bushfront Lodge is family friendly, with some rooms containing extra beds designed especially for families. The dining area and bar area are located right next to the pool, allowing parents to keep an eye on their little ones whilst relaxing in the shade.

The lodge is located just off the main road, between Livingstone Town and Victoria Falls. We are easily accessible by car but we can assist with airport transfers.

My wife and I camped at the lodge for four nights during February 2013. The campsites are shady, nicely grassed with power points and taps, and neat, clean and functional ablution facilities. Hot water was always available, thanks to the security guard Dominic who kept the fire in the "donkey" burning. The campsite is secluded, with a real "in the bush" feel. It was hard to believe that we were camping inside the town limits. The personnel we dealt with were all very friendly and helpful. I am already planning my next visit, early in 2014.

We had a great time staying at the Bushfront Lodge. We arrived as part of a tour group and stayed for an extra night. The room was basic but comfortable and the waterfall shower very unusual and fun! The staff were always helpful and smiling and I enjoyed several conversations with Mercy who was full of local anecdotes. The lodge is away from the centre of town and therefore peaceful whilst still close to all activities.
