Description

The nearest town to Bush Palace Lodge is Hluhluwe village, on the Elephant Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The area is world renowned for its wildlife, wetlands, Zulu culture and sunny weather.

The Bush Palace offers affordable self-catering accommodation for a maximum of 18 guests in a four-sleeper chalet with two bedrooms, and a 14-sleeper camp with four bedrooms.

It is situated on private game property, a tranquil sanctuary of sand-forest, African bush and wondrous wildlife. Fresh supplies are available from Hluhluwe village and the rooms are serviced daily, which includes dish washing.

The Bush Camp offers four bedrooms with linen and shared bathrooms with showers only. Towels are not provided. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and the lounge has DStv. The veranda has a dining table and guests can watch the wildlife during meals. Braai facilities are available.

The Bush Chalet offers two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a shower only. Linen is provided but towels are not. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and a braai area is available.

Although The Bush Palace sets the perfect scene for relaxing under the African night sky or lounging next to the pool, guests can enjoy hiking amongst the giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, nyala, blesbuck and more. Quad bikers are welcome to bring their quads and enjoy true nature drives. Guided game drives to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, a Big 5 game park, are offered daily by prior arrangement. Guests can also enjoy activities and attractions like birding, the snake and crocodile park, Zulu culture tours, visits to an animal rehabilitation centre and craft markets.

The area boasts exquisite national game reserves like Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve and Mkuze Game Reserve and also includes a World Heritage Site, the Isimangaliso Park. The Bush Palace is only an hour away from Sodwana Bay and Cape Vidal’s unspoilt beaches.

The Bush Palace is ideal for families, groups or teams wanting to get closer to nature.

The Bush Camp offers four bedrooms and two shared bathrooms with showers only. Two rooms are furnished with double beds, one room has single beds and the family room is furnished with bunk beds and single beds. Linen is provided but guests have to bring their own towels. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a gas stove, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and other utensils. The lounge has a TV with DStv and a bar counter. Firewood is provided for the boma and a pool is close by to relax in. The veranda offers beautiful views of the veld and guests can view wildlife while enjoying their meals.
