Thatchers Country Guest House

Brilliant. Beautiful environment. Very welcoming, very hospitable, very comfortable, and very informative. They told us about a new game park nearby which is not yet in the guide books and which proved to be excellent.

We had a most comfortable stay with awesome food in a beautiful place. This is our third stay and will be staying there again.

What an idyllic place! Jume Smith's cuisine is excellent, outstanding value for money, and she and John made our stay both enjoyable and memorable. We were sorry that we could not stay longer.

Everything about this place is first class. This was our second visit and nothing had changed!

My friends Ingrid and Marieta have just come back from SA and they enjoyed their stay at Thatchers Country Guest House very much. Every thing was up to their expectations and even more. This is a place I will keep in my directory to come and stay myself or and surely recommend to other people. One suggestion though, we assumed that payment would be OK by credit cards and they were astonished they had to pay cash. May I recommend to state it when some one makes the bookings; especially overseas clients do not wish to travel with a lot of cash other than the one needed for petrol. Anyway this is a great place to stay !
