Thali-Thali is a 1460-hectare Cape West Coast game and fynbos reserve situated just off the R27 near Langebaan, less than one hour drive from Cape Town and bordering the West Coast National Park. The Cape West Coast is intoxicating. Sure the wind heaves and thumps for much of the year, but the Langebaan area, with its beautiful lagoons, has a charm that keeps people coming back year after year.

Privately owned Thali-Thali Lodge can accommodate up to 20 people and offers an ideal laid-back West Coast-style atmosphere. We boast a wide range of game including kudu, oryx, giraffe, Red hartebeest, eland, zebra, springbok, Black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, and steenbok. The reserve is also home to many different bird species, and guests are welcome to enjoy a walk in the fynbos to view these creatures.

Accommodation at Thali-Thali consists of eight self-catering units, designed to create a unit with the old homestead. The eight units comprise three West Coast-style chalets and five luxury tents which are spread out in a circle around an entertainment area.

Enjoy an authentic breakaway in the midst of wildlife, complete with game viewing and West Coast hospitality.

Location: We are situated on a private game reserve, just 10 km from the well-known Langebaan. Experience ocean and veld in this area.

African Safari: Thali-Thali boasts a wide range of game including kudu, oryx, giraffe, Red hartebeest, eland, zebra, springbok, Black wildebeest, duiker, bontebok, and steenbok. Join us for a game drive in one of our open, 4x4 viewing vehicles.

Family: Kids can use the swimming pool and the play park while parents relax at our Safari Bar and entertainment area.

Great Outdoors: Enjoy exciting outdoor activities such as hiking and game viewing, as well as specialized 3D bow hunting on the premises.

Honeymoon Romance: Our luxury tents are the perfect units for a private, romantic getaway.

Outstanding Views: Enjoy beautiful views from anywhere on the farm.

Our family had a stunning time. If I could just recommend something it would be that they try to sort out the geyser as we struggled to shower and kids did not shower as the water is either very hot and as soon as cold water is turned on then the water goes ice cold, not so nice for winter. But other than this we were absolutely happy!

Very pleasant and awesome 4 day stay, nice layout and definitely to be visited by all Capetonians wanting a "game reserve" feel. Only negative was the shower problems we experienced with very little sense of urgency to fix. Awesome game drive with Marlon who was always helpful with his knowledge and experience of the animals. Will definitley be back.

As I sit down to write this review, trying my best to come up with something creative, I fail miserably to find words to describe this beautiful place. We stayed in one of the Luxury Canvas Tents. It was clean, neat, beautifully furnished and oh so comfortable. The linen was the best and the en-suite bathroom with huge shower was a treat.
