Nestled in a lush environment, conveniently situated a stone's throw from the N3, the Liberty Midlands Mall, a number of private schools, the Greys Hospital, The Royal Agricultural showground’s, and the CBD. A warm welcome awaits our guests to five en-suite bedrooms, TV, with DStv and SABC channels and heaters for the cold winter nights.

Dinner and lunch are also available by prior arrangement. We also have facilities for a mini conference, as well as secretarial services, for example Internet, faxing and photocopying.

We recently stayed at Taunton House and what a great experience! They really make you feel at home and they are extremely friendly and helpful. If you are in the Pietermaritzburg area and you need a place to stay, I would seriously recommend Tauton House!

Pam and Daya are generous and gracious hosts. We were made to feel very much at home. Breakfast was available in time for our 5 am start. All in all a wonderful stay.
