Very stylish and tasteful rooms with attention to detail. Great bathtub to relax as a couple. Well managed in a beautiful and quiet location. Warm welcome (in German), great food for dinner. Standard breakfast buffet. Also nice for families with kids. Extremely helpful staff.

The food was consistently excellent - even down to the marmalade at breakfast! The service was great, and the room was very comfortable. There's a nice walk you can take from the grounds, down into a valley behind the property to a river which is great. My only disappointment was that the busy N2 is really quite close by, and you can hear the traffic quite clearly from the grounds. It's not a big deal, but it's not quite the rural ideal it could be if it were a couple of miles off the ... more

Tarn Country House is a 4-star family owned and managed 100-acre property.
