Facilities

Tapologo Lodge is situated on the N4, 2 km before Zeerust in the North West Province. This is the ideal place for an overnight stop when heading to either Botswana or Namibia, or even a weekend to relax and get away from the rush of the city.

This well established guest lodge is situated on one hectare of land and it offers 18 chalets and one Suite which sleep 40 guests in total. There is also a pub and grill restaurant, a nightclub and a boma fireplace. The restaurant is open from 07:00 until closing from Monday to Friday and 08:00 until closing on Saturdays. The restaurant is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

After a 11 hour trip from Windhoek, we had a very comfortable overnight stay at Tapologo Lodge. We had exellent steak at the restaurant and then went straight to bed - in a very neat and well appointed room.The breakfast was just what we needed to put us on the road for yet another long drive.

It is comfortable, but I did have a concern re the security of vehicles. Open entrance with no security guards made me uncomfortable. Also, it would be nice to have a fridge in the room, especially fot the long distance traveller, to re-freeze its ice blocks.

Rooms were neat, bathrooms clean. Restaurant had good menu with very very cold beer. Will use again in future for overnight stay.
