Tanglewood Country House is situated in the beautiful, and unexplored Dargle Valley, Kwa Zulu-Natal Midlands. We are situated in close proximity to Midmar Dam, and the famous Midlands Meander, on a tarred road.

The Beauty of our valley. The Inhlosane Mountain. Winter Snow. Tanglewood Country House is a beautifully restored, Historical building, which dates back to 1885, many original features such as oregon Pine floors, Sash windows and Yellowwood furniture can still be found.
We offer 10, individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, which are all furnished with vintage furniture, to compliment the era of the building.
Our cosy country pub, The Dargle Inn, offers crackling log fires and DStv, as well as a selection of local and imported beers and a extensive Wine list. Our a'la carte restaurant makes use of the freshest, local produce from neighbouring farms, ensuring you of an unforgettable Dining Experience.
