@ Syringa Guest House is centrally located, close to the main shopping malls, the university, sports grounds, medical centres, courts, police station and museums. We are a family orientated establishment set in a quiet garden with a pool and braai area. We pride ourselves on excellent service and guest satisfaction.

Our air-conditioned rooms are comfortable, clean and equipped with all the comforts of home. They are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, TVs and hospitality trays. All our rooms are non-smoking. We have DStv in the communal lounge, as well as a fireplace and a small library. We are fully licensed and drinks are available on request.

Our garden rooms have private entrances and we provide secure, undercover parking on site. Other facilities include limited laundry services. We also offer a fully catered conference facility for up to 40 delegates.

Potchefstroom offers a wide range of activities and attractions, from sports and outdoor adventures to the area's rich cultural diversity. It is home to the annual Aardklop art festival, national and international cricket, soccer and rugby. Many overseas athletes enjoy the outstanding training facilities. Our guest house is about 130 km from the OR Tambo International Airport.

Family: We are family guest house set in a quiet garden setting, lot of space for children to play games. The guest house also have a splash pool for the family to enjoy. We have two fully furnished family units.

Historical & Cultural: The house was built for the pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church, Dominee Dryer in about 1935. He had five sons. It was also a student commune for some time.

Pets Permitted: All small pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

The room was lovely and clean with all the arrangements in place, the outside security gate was extremely irritating opening and closing with a loud noise right under the room till the early hours of the morning
