A lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at Sunset beach. The setting and swimming were lovely. However there are no activities at Sunset Beach no snorkeling, diving or additional activities. We found the food at the restaurant to be very average. The rolls were literally rock hard, the prawns were tiny, the calamari was chewy and they ran out 2M and only got new stock many days later. The chalet next to us was broken into and had clothes etc. stolen whilst they were sleeping.

Unfortunately we only used Sunset Beach as a stopover on the way home as we would've enjoyed staying longer. However we appreciated the short stay and the friendliness of everyone and the amazing ocean views.

The stay in the chalet (Barracuda) was very comfortable (Luckily not one mozzy was seen-only a harmless groenslang in the tree) Barracuda should be upgraded to standard of chalet Baleia - got impression Barracuda a little under-maintained.
Preferable to take a proper 4 x 4 and/or a quad bike to get down to the beach and up again, although we walked the short distance, very good exercise.
