Houseboating on the Maggie May is a unique way to enjoy the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings of the malaria-free Sundays River. Our six-sleeper houseboat accommodates every occasion whether you are on holiday, celebrating a birthday, a special anniversary or year end function.

Relax on the comfortable leather seating, or laze on the top deck as our experienced skipper cruises to the Sundays River Mouth and world renowned coastal sand dunes. Have a sun-downer whilst cruising upriver to the secluded boma area. Choose to be moored either down river at the sand dunes, or upriver where you can feel like a king or queen whilst sitting on your throne in the Royal Flush. The Royal Flush overlooks the river, allowing you to be at one with nature in the reed-enclosed shower, or get back to basics bathing in the bath with the sounds of fish eagles. Both locations have private hot showers and toilet facilities. Sundays River is a recreation and houseboat paradise. Countless kilometers of scenic sand dunes await your exploration. Sun-drenched beaches and vast wildlife are yours to discover from the comfort of your ‘home away from home’ where the view changes constantly. Enjoy swimming, dune walks, water skiing, sand boarding, quad bikes, paint ball and much more.

Children of all ages are very welcome. Located 20 minutes from Port Elizabeth and only five kilometers from the south entrance to the Addo Elephant National Park.
