Description

Welcome to Suncrest no. 3. Hibberdene is located between 40 minutes from Durban International Airport, and 30 minutes from Margate. The chalet can sleep 6 people (including children). The chalet consists of 2 bedrooms, lounge, dinning room, kitchen and bathroom. The chalet has its own private braai. Under roof parking. Hibberdene has an excellent shark protected beach, which is supervised by lifesavers. Things to do: excellent rock and ski fishing. Close to golf courses like Selborn, Port Shepstone, San Lameer and Wild Coast. A fun pub next to the lagoon with putt-putt, super tube and paddling boats and play pen for kids. In season we have got the sardine run. You might see the netting of sardine, whale watching and dolphins. Hibberdene is also close to Oribi Gorge, Lake Eland (game reserve and fishing). Wild coast casino and Crocodile farms.

Even coming from Durban and having a view of the sea every day, staying in a place where you open the curtains to a spectacular view of the ocean, was awesome. Most people (permanent occupants) friendly, but having teenagers, they found it a bit restrictive. The non-smoking sign in the unit was a bit of a shocker, as you would expect the unit to be advertised as non-smoking, which it wasn't. So going outside to have a cigarette was a bit of a drag.
