The venue is the last house at the foot of the back of Table Mountain. It is very well equipped, clean and magnificently located at the foot of the back of table mountain in trees. We were sorry we just did not have enough time to explore it properly and will be back to do it justice.

Sunbird Retreat is the epitomy of peace and tranqility.
My husband and I had a lovely time, Ken and Sharon were wonderful hosts - their time and patience, everlasting. This is definitely an experience that we would repeat. Stunning views, excellent hospitality, incredible hosts and cosy rooms. What more could a couple ask for ?

Situated in a forested wonderland on the back slope of Table Mountain, overlooking Orangekloof Nature Reserve.

Scrumptious breakfasts served in our sun-drenched breakfast room or patio in the forest.
Sparkling swimming pool lying in an amphitheatre created by the surrounding mountains.
All on natures doorstep. Exquisite flora, indigenous forest & sea views a short walk up the mountain.
