Sunbird Mountain Retreat is situated in a forested wonderland on the back slope of Table Mountain, overlooking Orangekloof Nature Reserve. Fantastic start to our holiday.Would recommend it. Ken was a mine of information and made us feel very welcomed. The retreat was restful but close to main facilities at Hout Bay. Should we visit South Africa again it would certainly be on our agenda.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Sunbird Mountain Retreat. Our host was very pleasant and the lodge very quiet. Sadly we could'nt swim in the swimming pool so busy we were.... The breakfast was very good!!!! A good address to recommend Martine LERBS

The venue is the last house at the foot of the back of Table Mountain. It is very well equipped, clean and magnificently located at the foot of the back of table mountain in trees. We were sorry we just did not have enough time to explore it properly and will be back to do it justice.
