Located in Blantyre, the commercial capital of Malawi, Mount Soche Hotel is strategically positioned in the city centre. The Hotel is set among lush tropical gardens overlooking the city in the north and the Historical Ndirande mountain in the south.

The nearest Parks and Reserves are Lengwe National Park, About 75 km's away, home of the shy nyala, just an hour away down the Chikwawa escarpment south of Blantyre near the sugar estates at Nchalo. A few kilometers away is the newly revitalised Majete Wildlife Reserve where elephants and other large species have recently been re-introduced.

There are two conference rooms:

One main Hall (seating capacity 350 delegates)
and two Board rooms (capacity 10 and 15) catering for seminars, receptions, board meetings, product launches, workshops etc. Equipment available includes: Audio-visual equipment, LCD, Overhead Projector, Slide Projector, Public Address System and Flip Charts

Michiru Restaurant & Bar – a la carte menu of local and international cuisine, with an exclusive bar.

Cocktail Bar – formal and located near Gypsy’s restaurant, enjoy expertly mixed cocktails and excellent barmanship in an ambience uniquely Malawian.

Sportsman’s Bar – a taste of real Malawian hospitality. The Sportsman’s bar offers a more relaxed atmosphere complimented by a local band every Friday evenings. Quick snacks and satellite television are also available.

I was extremely impressed. The hotel is excellent and the staff is friendly. They renovated the hotel and it is professional and top class. Definitely a gold star from my side.

Very convenient and very friendly staff. Well equipped Business Centre and very efficient. (Only thing missing is a paper shredder) Only complaint might be speed of Internet but I am not sure if that was a hotel issue or not.

Clean and Friendly!! DID i Mention FRIENDLY!!! I enjoyed my stay at this pleasant Hotel, with great Room Service meals and an Awesome Restaurant!! Wish they had more than just the DSTV compact package...like the Discovery Channel,MTV, Channel o, National Geographic... If ever you go to Malawi ...Please try the CHAMBO!!!
