This beautiful eight-room guest house is situated on a 21 hectare working protea farm overlooking the Stellenbosch mountain ranges. It provides the perfect base to explore the Winelands or just relax in an atmosphere of quiet luxury.

Take a journey along our three hiking trails, explore the many surrounding wine farms, or tee-off at any of the 12 nearby golf courses. Whether you are looking for a long holiday, a short break, a company retreat, a conference or a wedding, our staff will make sure that your experience is a special and thoroughly enjoyable one.

Guest rooms have been decorated with elegant contemporary touches and feature an en-suite bathroom with shower and/or bath, queen-size or twin beds, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, tea and coffee station, DStv, international direct dial telephone, wireless Internet, electronic safe deposit box, and courtyard, garden or mountain/vineyard views. One room has also been tailor-made for wheelchair access.

Services at Sugarbird Manor include continental and English breakfast, lounge with well-stocked bar, turn down service, laundry service, and in-room massage service. Lunch and dinner are available on 24 hours notice.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant. Really luxurious yet affordable. The rooms were really so comfortable, and cosy. Also the nature around is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was divine!! worth every cent. :)

it was very relaxed. the hosts were charming and more than helpful. The decor is elegant and beautifully realised. The garden is just gorgeous and the bird life spectacular. We had a good time. It would be lovely to visit in the winter.
