Stilbaai is on the banks of the picturesque Goukou River. Famous for its endless beaches. Walk alongside the beach to extensive shell middens left by prehistoric peoples and view ancient stone fish traps that are still in use. There is also a big eel hole you can visit. Nature reserves nearby. Well stocked grocery stores. Swim through the river and buy your fresh fish at the picturesque harbour. Comprehensive sporting amenities ranging from a nine-hole golf course, two bowling greens, tennis and squash courts in conjunction with the mild climatic conditions and low rainfall. Still Bay is all about nature and tranquility. (Hardly any crime in the area!)
I also have a B&B in Stellenbosch too - Check http://www.safarinow.com/go/stellenbosch/ (Anesta 21)
