Stanford Valley Guest Farm is nestled in the valley of the Klein Rivier, 10 km outside of Stanford village on the Fynbos Route in the Overberg. We offer comfortable accommodation in five Self-catering Cottages, three Family Cottages and 10 large Double En-suite Rooms on a bed-only basis.

Old meets new in our 100 year old barn, which has been artfully converted into a modern conference centre.

The prestigious future thinking and sustainability festival 'Freewheeling' was conceived at Stanford Valley and is held here annually in late summer. For three days, some of South Africa’s leading thinkers, economists, scientists, artists and environmentalists convene here to share and dialogue their latest ideas with hundreds of festival guests.

What an absolute pleasure! I have found my home away from home. Peaceful, safe, and Michael, Esme and their daughters are extremely friendly and accommodating. Wonderful for kids!

What a most relaxing stay it was at Stanford Valley Guest Farm. Our quaint cottage was ideal for the two of us, with a view to over the hills. If you are up early enough as we were at 05h30 after an early night, you will witness the rabbits and buck coming out for early grazing. What a pleasant sight it was. Beds were very comfortable, too cold to use the outside shower. We would recommend Stanford Valley to anybody who wants a relaxing few nights away.
