Facilities

Spes Bona has been welcoming weary travellers for the last 14 years. Situated centrally, it has five en-suite units, two lounge areas with TVs, four patios with seating in the large garden, two braai areas and secure, undercover parking.

Breakfast is optional and can be arranged on arrival. We are also very close to the restaurants in the area.

We are one of the first established guest houses in Colesberg and provide the perfect halfway stop for travels between all the major cities in South Africa.

Clean facilities and met by a friendly hostess that went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Especially since we traveled with a ten week old baby and had specific needs to be met.

Spes Bona Guesthouse was a good experiance.The room was neat and well equiped. The owners were friendly and helpfull. The negaetive side is the noise of heavy trucks pasing the guesthouse day and night. I however think that it will be something of the past as soon as the road works on the main road is completed.

Very good value for money! We enjoyed a very clean large room with private on suite bathroom. Maryna (hostess) was welcoming and hospitable. We did not eat breakfast so cannot comment on the food quality. In summary, this is a perfect overnight stop at a budget price-no frills but perfectly acceptable standards.
