We have six cottages which each have luxury en-suite rooms. Two cottages have two bedrooms double, queen-size and two single beds each and two cottages are one bedroom with queen-size beds. In addition, we have an Annex, which are two en-suite bedrooms that can be utilised as one unit or separate. One has a double bed, the other two single beds; private entrances are available for both, swimming pool and braai area. All our rooms at Spekboom are equipped to your needs. The cottage we stayed in was lovely with a good view of the countryside and beautiful flowers in the garden. It was well-equipped, well-looked after and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the people very friendly.

Very comfortable accommodation with a lovely view of the mountains. Ideal setting for enjoying wine bought on the wine farms around Calitzdorp.

The cottages were much more than we thought. We had the cottage at the end of the row, overlooking the Karoo. The mini plunge pool was really warm, and very welcome after a long day on the road. It is also a great place to base yourself for mountain biking and birdwatching. The breakfast was also very well presented and laid out. All in all, I highly recommend Spekboom Cottages, and will definitely stay there again.
