Accommodation for one couple or one or two singles. The garden flat let is equipped with pristine Cloud Nine beds, linen and fresh flowers. In winter we also provide extra woolly blankets, a heater and hot water bottles. For summers, we provide a fan and the room-window is fitted with mosquito mesh for added relief. There is a comfortable easy chair, antique dining table and two chairs, tiled- and wooden floors and TV with 4 local channels, small library and tourism information, cupboard, bedside tables, luggage kist, compact digital safe, security alarm system, ample lighting, rugs, board-games and plenty of feasts for the eyes. The shower-room is en-suite, quaint and spacious. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. Off-street, roofed parking is located well inside the property, at your front door. Additional off-street parking is also available for a second vehicle.

The self-catering facilities include microwave oven, two-plate stove, fridge with deep-freeze and ice trays, cordless kettle, two slice toaster, coffee plunger, ample cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils, storage space and cleaning equipment. Expect extras such as serviettes, a coffee plunger, a selection of spices and toothpicks! Complimentary coffee, teas, sugars, sweetener and milk is offer as a welcoming gesture. The rustic and private "braai boma" (barbeque area) and equipment is situated in the garden. Lovely for wine-tasting and star-gazing.

For a Bed and Breakfast option the result of pecky guests peeking into the hospita's kitchen, pinching pumpkin fritters and gooseberries, enjoy our optional "Blikbord" Breakfast will be a random selection of whatever the hospita gathered. We do not do "thin". Do give us a 24-hour’s notice - we have to knead, boil, kill, pot and squeeze.

Smoking is only permitted outside, single bookings welcome, we do not charge a single supplement. We do offer long-stay discount. Sorry - no pets, small children, credit card- or laundry facilities. Laundry and dry cleaning facilities are available in Robertson during office hours on weekdays. An iron and ironing-board is available on request at Slippers

There is a comfortable easy-chair, antique dining table and two chairs, tiled- and wooden floors, TV SABC and e-TV, CD-player with AM/FM radio, a small library and local information, cupboard, bedside tables, luggage kist, compact digital safe, security alarm system for those concerned, ample lighting, rugs, board-games and plenty of feasts for the eyes. The shower room is quaint and spacious. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. Off-street, roofed parking is located towards the back of the property, at your door. Additional off-street parking is also available for a second vehicle. Self-catering facilities include microwave oven, two-plate stove, fridge with deep-freeze and ice trays, cordless kettle, two-slice toaster, coffee plunger, ample cutlery, crockery, kitchen- and barbeque utensils, storage space and cleaning equipment. Fresh flowers and/or garden greens and a selection of herbs and spices are provided free of charge. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar (white, brown and Canderel) and milk on arrival. Available during power failures: Two-plate non-electric stove with bio-gel and aluminium kettle. Your rustic and private braai-boma (barbeque area) and equipment is situated in the garden. Great for wine-tasting and star-gazing! In the event of rain, a portable barbeque-unit is also available for use under your roofed parking/cottage entrance area. Enjoy our optional Blikbord-Breakfast by 48 hour prior arrangement. A random selection of goodies in season and in the owner’s pantry: juice, slice of farm bread, a hot scone, butter and jam, a helping of ham, some cheese and biltong and perhaps a pumpkin fritter or or a pomegranate. Beautiful setting with attention to detail. Amazing breakfast and lovely hosts. Nice new and big bathroom.

The entire experience was one that I will definitely recommend to others. From the online enquiry, the account set up, the speed at which the quote was received, the payment portal and the confirmation, was professionally dealt with. The welcome and flexibility of Sanet and Lisa from Slippers was legendary. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and the "little" touches were most welcoming. We enjoyed our stay immensely and I will be using both services in the future.

Its was very comfortable and more then catered for all our needs. All the little extras (like the newspaper on Sunday morning) became the cherry on the top.

A face and a heart like an angel is what you get on arrival. Sanet is one bubbly personality in a box. If you want to get away from the rat race and go for a straight down to earth, relaxing weekend Slipper is the place to go to.... Please allow 48 hours for 'blikbord' breakfast it is a WOW experience. P.S. Stop stealing plugs, it's a bad habit.

We overnighted at Slippers on our way back to Cape Town and were extremely happy with the establishment. We were given a warm and totally hospitable welcome/farewell on our arrival/departure. The decor is unique and glows with the hostess's personal touch. Slippers is excellent value for money! ... and do try out the blikbord breakfast!
