Shayamoya is a true gem offering genuine hospitality, unique settings with stunning panoramic views across the Pongolapoort Lake also known as Jozini, Lebombo Mountains, and the Phongolo Nature Reserve. Our specialty is the challenging sport of tiger fishing where the record is 8.3 kg; however we also offer game drives, boat cruises, elephant tracking and rhino and bush walks.

Ten luxurious thatched chalets are individually situated with their own private viewing deck, en-suite wooden bathroom and enclosed outdoor showers that make the experience truly romantic. A central lodge accommodates the lounge, bar; cellar, sundeck, and the restaurant which serves scrumptious SA cuisine. The Blevin Family and their friendly staff will ensure you have a memorable and relaxing stay.

Weddings and Honeymoons: Shayamoya Tiger Fishing and Game Lodge is a stunningly romantic venue with awesome views and private settings for the honeymooners. The outdoor shower also has that sexy appeal. Your wedding can be hosted here too, with the marriage vows being done on our deck with the panoramic view in the background. We love having children share the bush experience but realize they need more to stay entertained thus puzzles, building blocks, paints and colouring in sets. Are available and the kitchen makes play dough for your children to get creative. There is also a sandpit and DVD player in the boma. Lunch: R65 per person.
