Shady Acres is situated in the heart of the beautiful Mooi River Estate area. It is five minutes from the university, hospitals, city centre and all major sports facilities.

We offer 12 large single, double and family rooms including Self-catering Units. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, a private entrance, secure shaded parking and full TV facilities. There are tea and coffee-making facilities in rooms, with fridges in certain rooms only.

Breakfast and dinner are available on request and there are braai facilities available at the gazebo in the garden. All the antique furnished rooms overlook a large shady garden with beautiful trees, abundant bird life and an uninterrupted view over the adjacent fields.

Shady Acres is a haven for the nature lover who enjoys being woken by bird song and who likes to take long walks while watching sheep and horses grazing in the distance.

Die naweek van 13 tot 15 Januarie 2012 was die inkloktyd vir Potch se eerstejaars. Dit was wonderlik om na 'n lang dag in die winkels en regkry van ons seun se kamer op die dorp terug te keer na die rustigheid van Shady Acres. Alles was so skoon en netjies en volledig ingerig, die personeel uiters vriendelik, en so ook die donkie met wie ons gou maats gemaak het! Ons sal beslis weer daar gaan asemskep wanneer ons Potch besoek. Beslis aan te beveel! The weekend of 13 – 15 January ... more
