Facilities

See-View House and Cottage is located close to the city centre, within easy walk to galleries, shops and restaurants. From the big garden, guests can enjoy lovely mountain views and there is also a barbecue area, many fruit trees and safe parking.

The Cottage sleeps up to four people in one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the large lounge area. The bathroom has a shower, while the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, double hot-plate, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and pots.

The House is a large family home that sleeps up to eight people. This unit comprises three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, two lounges, a fully equipped kitchen, and a huge enclosed veranda.

We had a lovely stay in a very clean home. I would however suggest that the beds can be renewed.

We (3 of us) stayed in the Cottage for 4 nights. The Cottage got everything you need and is a great place for hiking in the Golden Gate park and just a short drive away from Sentinel. It is worth every penny. Close to everything in Clarens, and super nice hosts. Clean and comfy. Only negative thing is the length of the beds (but as all three of us are over 185cm, it might just be us)

We stayed in the cottage in December 2012 and had a wonderful time. The cottage is spacious and clean. It has a large garden with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The host is friendly and helpful (her house is across the street from the cottage). Extra bedding and hot water bottles are provided. The cottage is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Braai facilities are available.

With lots of space inside, this cottage is set in a lovely garden with table and chairs and a braai. A washing line is provided and the self catering facilities are more than adequate for a stay of more than a few days. The bathroom/shower area is a little small but the shower is powerful and there is plenty of hot water. We did not need them but extra blankets, heaters and hot water bottles are provided for colder times of the year. Overall very good value for money.
