Nestled up on the mountain, only 50 m above the beach, this designer cottage boasts an uninterrupted sea view over False Bay. You might want to surf the Internet via the optional high-speed access in the cottage or surf a real wave at Muizenberg, which is one of the best surfing beaches in South Africa.

Seaview Cottage features a double bed for two people with an en-suite bathroom and is fitted in a unique artistic style. While enjoying the outstanding view of the ocean, you can prepare your meals in the simple but well-equipped kitchenette or relax on the private patio and fynbos garden.

It is an ideal hub from which to engage in a myriad of activities without need of a car. In two minutes you can reach the beach for swimming, surfing and other water sports; the mountain for hiking and biking; the village and promenade for delis, restaurants, banks, post and a diversity of interesting shops; and enjoy the nightlife live with theatres and live music bars. In the morning, simply open your eyes and watch the sun rise over the sea from your bed.

St. James and Kalk Bay offers a quaint fishing harbour that is renowned for its diverse and tasteful fashion, craft and antique shops, as well as cosy cafés. They are either just a stroll away along the coastal walkway or two stations by train. Simon’s Town and the Cape of Good Hope are further along this beautiful and interesting coastline. For more city-orientated activities, Cape Town City Centre can easily be reached within 25 minutes by car via the M3 Freeway, or with a 45-minute train trip.
