We were made so welcome and the room was so comfortable and luxurious that my only regret was that we had not planned to stay longer than one night. The breakfast was homemade and delicious and the hosts were very friendly.

Dating back to 1853, Schoone Oordt Country House is a beautifully restored Victorian Lady and a much admired Swellendam landmark.
Eight magnificently appointed Luxury Suites and a Honeymoon Suite have been added, where the emphasis is on uncluttered style.
