Description

Sarah-Lee B&B is situated in the small town of Matatiele in the Eastern Cape. The large comfortable home offers nine rooms and a delicious breakfast each morning.

All the rooms have TVs with DStv as well as tea and coffee facilities. The rooms all have heaters for the cold winter months and some winters guests can experience snow fall. In the summer guests are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool while having a braai. The guest house has a large lounge area with a communal TV and a pool table. We also offer a fax and Internet facility for the business traveller.

Situated in the lesser explored Southern Drakensberg, the quaint little town of Matatiele lies 70 km from Kokstad, at the junction of the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and southern Lesotho.

I think people need to know about this place. They are very accomodating. The food is excellent. I had two punctures and the lady called a garage which then sent a man to fetch me and the two tyres and brought me back. I can't think of a better place to spend a night.

We quite enjoyed our stay at Sara-Lee. The owner was very welcoming and hospitable. The lodge is clean and well kept. The meals are excellent. Owner goes the extra mile to help when a person has trouble - we have 2 tyre punctures. She helped us get that sorted. We would definitely stay here again.
